Monitoring the inclination of bridge piers, etc.
As shown in the image above, a single-axis sensor is installed on a railroad pier to monitor the inclination of the pier. We have delivered our products to railroad companies.
Misalignment of railway tracks can lead to major accidents such as derailment. Since there is a possibility that the tracks laid on the piers will be displaced if the piers tilt, it is necessary to monitor the relationship between the tilt of the piers and the displacement of the tracks, and to see if the displacement of the tracks is within the permissible range specified in the “Ministerial Ordinance to Provide Technical Standards for Railways.
permissible range (in Japan) :
・For straight lines: -4mm to +7mm
・For point crossings: -3mm to +5mm
