Please be careful with the digital level!
Are there any measuring instruments around you that can measure length, weight, angle, temperature, etc.?
If you say “I use it on a regular basis,” how do you use it?
We manufacture and sell digital levels that measure the state of levelness at minute angles. We also offer calibration and repair services.
The main failure points of digital levels returned to us for repair are as follows.

They may be accidentally dropped or bumped against other objects while working or carrying them.
In such a case, the concern is, “Can we continue to measure as before?” Let’s check that.
Check to see if the “zero point,” which is the reference for the measurement of the digital level, has not shifted compared to the previous measurement. (It is assumed that the zero point is in the same environment as the previous measurement. To check the zero point, it is desirable to prepare a reference environment such as a stone surface plate that is resistant to deterioration over time and temperature changes and has a flatness of less than 5 micro meter across the entire measurement surface.)
If there is no deviation at all, there is no problem, but if there is a slight deviation, it may be possible to correct it by reestablishing the reference (our digital level has a method called “absolute zero correction” to reestablish the reference of the digital level).
Please refer to the following URL for a video on how to operate the absolute zero correction.
Even if the sensor of the digital level is not particularly damaged by dropping or bumped against other objects, it is recommended to check the zero point misalignment.
This is because even if there are no scratches or dents, strong shocks or shaking can cause the zero point to shift.
If the measurement is so misaligned that it cannot be measured, it will require adjustment or repair by a professional engineer, please contact us.
So far, We have talked about the main failure areas that digital levels return to us for repair and, how to check and correct sensor standard (zero point), how was it?
We hope that by being careful in handling the product and knowing that you can take care of it yourselves without sending it in for repair, you can help yourselves to reduce unnecessary repair costs and waiting time.
Thank you for your continued support of our digital level.
