【NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT】5 Sensors Wireless Digital Spirit Level
In this issue, we would like to introduce some of our products currently under development. As the title suggests, we are currently developing a wireless digital spirit level that can be connected to a maximum of five sensors.
In our development department, new projects are launched based on customers requests and the market needs. Employees of the Development Department serve customers at numerous trade shows (Semicon, Nepcon etc), so please feel free to contact us for feedback from the field.
Although we originally had wireless digital spirit levels (SELN-121BM, SELN-131BM) with one sensor and one monitor, the current specifications do not allow connection of multiple sensors to one monitor. We have begun the development of this product in response to requests from customers in Japan and overseas for the possibility of connecting multiple units to measure the level of multiple locations at the same time, as well as to research the need to measure multiple locations not only for semiconductor manufacturing equipment but also for large machine tools. The tentative model type name is “SELN-141BM” (Photo 1*).
Since the model is still under development, the color of the monitor, sensor, and other details are subject to change. Specifications such as accuracy and resolution are equivalent to the current products (SELN-121BM and SELN-131BM).
The number of sensors can be connected from one to five, and the level can be checked on a single monitor.
This SELN-141BM has three advantages.
- No need to rearrange the sensor at each measurement location If there are many measurement locations with a one-to-one connection, it is necessary to rearrange and adjust the sensor. However, if 5 units can be checked at the same time, there is no need to re-position them at different locations.
- No need to purchase more than two sets of monitors and sensors (SELN-121BM and SELN-131BM). The number of sensors will be sold in sets of 5, starting from 2 units.
- Real-time, long-term measurement of site changes The digital output of the monitor can be connected to a PC, and changes in X-axis and Y-axis values can be recorded for approximately 8 hours (when the sensor is battery-powered) using terminal software (Teraterm, Rlogin, etc.). Even longer recording is possible if the sensor is connected to an AC adapter.

As shown in Photo 2, five sensors are assumed: four at the four corners of the device and one at the center. These can be used in narrow gaps or in high locations that are hard to reach (communication may not be possible in some environments).

As you can see, our Development Department is constantly examining easy-to-use digital levels that are needed by our customers.
We hope to hear from you through this web page or at an exhibition. Thank you for reading.
Best regards.
