Q What is the difference between the wireless digital levels “SELN-121BM” and “SELN-131BM”?
A The main differences are the countries in which they can be used, the frequency, and the AC adapter.
Our wireless digital levels are available in both domestic and international versions. The international version is compatible with the United States, Taiwan, and South Korea. It is not subject to radio wave regulations in China.
As I wrote in my blog (https://digital-spirit-level.com/jp/blogs/1236/), Japan and overseas countries each have their own radio wave laws. Wireless products must comply with the radio wave laws of each country, and our wireless digital levels use different frequencies between the Japanese and international versions to comply with each country’s radio wave laws. Not only are the frequencies different, but the AC adapters are also different. This is because the voltage and plug shape used vary by country. A comparison table is shown below, so you can see other differences.
